About the Awards Night
We’d been looking forward to another fantastic evening at the 2025 Skegness Business Awards, held at our long-time home, the North Shore Hotel, Skegness. This black-tie event was always a highlight in the local calendar. Guests enjoyed a welcome drinks reception, followed by a three-course meal and the main event, celebrating the brilliant businesses that made our area special.
Thanks to our Awards Night Decoration Sponsor, Impressions Event Hire, the room was dressed to impress, setting the perfect scene for a memorable evening.
On each table, guests found a printed event programme with the running order for the night and a full list of finalists in every category. Our compère guided everyone through the awards, announcing each category, and representatives from our sponsors or the Skegness Area Business Chamber revealed the winners live on stage.

Finalists received one free ticket to attend the event and had the option to purchase additional tickets if they wanted to bring guests. The awards night had been a sell-out in previous years, so we recommended securing seats early. If any extra tickets became available for general sale, we announced it on our social media channels, so guests kept an eye out. It was a night to celebrate the very best of Skegness business.
Who can enter the Skegness Business Awards?
Anyone involved in a business operating in the Skegness area can enter. You’re welcome to nominate yourself or another deserving business.
How do I submit a nomination?
Simply complete the online nomination form for each category you’d like to enter. It’s quick, easy, and completely free.
Can I enter more than one category?
Yes! You’re welcome to enter multiple categories if you feel your business fits the criteria—there’s no limit.
Is there a fee to enter?
No, entry is entirely free. Our goal is to celebrate and support our local business community.
When is the nomination deadline?
The deadline will be clearly listed on the nomination page. Make sure to submit your entries before it closes!
How are winners selected?
A panel of judges reviews each entry based on set criteria. If you’re selected as a finalist, you’ll be notified shortly after the nomination window closes.
What happens if I am a finalist?
Finalists will be invited to meet the Head Judge and a representative from our sponsors or Skegness Area Business Chamber. You’ll receive a formal invitation with all the details.
What is the Awards night?

What is the Lifetime Achievement Award?
This special award is nominated exclusively by Skegness Area Chamber Members and recognises individuals who’ve made an exceptional contribution to our local business community.
